About FRC

The First Robotics Competition, or FRC, is our club's main project every year. Our members all come together to build a robot and learn the fundamentals of engineering, programming, and electronics in an environment that welcomes everyone. Our FRC robots are fully designed, built, wired, programmed, and controlled exclusively by our members, with our amazing mentors providing the guidance our students need to excel. Those who graduate out of the club go on to do great things in college and the work force, and commonly come back to mentor and give their knowledge and experience to everyone who needs it. We use FRC as a vehicle to help our community and its people be brighter than ever before.

About Vex

Although VEX is not our main endeavor it is a major part of our club. It is very helpful in teaching our new students and helping prepare them for their future in the club. We organize VEX by having upperclassmen in charge of a VEX team and new members working under them, this way they can learn under them. We have been competing in VEX for many years so we have a good reputation throughout Florida and we've even hosted our own competition for the past two years. Overall VEX is a great learning experience for new members and we will continue to use it and other side projects to teach new members.
